Canadians Can Still Stay in Shape and Stay Healthy Right from the Comfort of Homes

December 21 22:20 2020

Although in Toronto and the GTA, there are some gyms scheduled to open shortly, these are mostly the bigger chains.  The reopening of gyms is not all inclusive either, as many gyms must follow the rigorous guidelines set by the Canadian Department of Health and is still in areas where Stage 3 guidelines exist.  A vaccine is on the horizon and distribution started, but the fluctuations in the spread of the disease make it difficult for gym owners, and even other businesses to effectively open and be assured they can stay open.  Strict measures exist for control of the transmission of the disease and especially in gyms, concerns about transmission exist since of course, during exercise, more droplets of all types, both oral and through sweat are released.  Individuals are also afraid of contagion and prefer to work out at home now during this period.  This does not mean Canadians do not want to stay in shape or get back into shape, quite the opposite.  Many Canadians are turning to personal trainers that will come to their homes, or remote training sessions.  Quarantines did cause some individuals to overeat and not get the proper exercise, or if they did exercise, they did not do so properly.

Personal trainers in certain areas throughout the GTA are now available for in-home exercise.

First Class Personal Training of Toronto offers a safe way to exercise without exposure to Covid-19.  Since a staged approach to control of the virus is being done in Canada, some areas of Canada can allow in-home personal trainers.  First Class Personal Training is taking it upon them to provide these training sessions.  Of course, all safety protocols are strictly followed, but this is a welcomed service in the areas in which it is now offered.  The areas that First Class Personal Training now service with home training are the Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Markham, and Mississauga areas of the GTA.  In home visits are easily arranged and all types of personal training are available from weight and strength training to cardiovascular workouts.

In-home personal training does not take a lot of space and can accommodate any home.

Equipment is brought by the trainer for each session and includes barbells, dumbbells, weights, and other equipment that is small and fits into any home. Consumers can also choose to have a health and wellness visit included with nutritional guidance since weight gain was a problem for some during quarantine.  Boredom can lead to bad eating habits, and too much junk food can be consumed. Not only are many consumers seeking stronger bodies now, but also leaner bodies and many consumers request nutritional guidance along with the exercise sessions. Looking good and feeling good is still important to Canadians.
