Capital Postal & Mailbox Service Provides Hub for All Packing, Shipping, Printing, and Business Services

Capital Postal & Mailbox Service is quickly becoming the premier provider of shipping, packing, printing, and mailbox rentals solutions in Long Beach, CA. Company founder Takisha Clark combines her experiences in small businesses and corporations to scale her brand and serve her clients.

Takisha Clark is the founder and CEO of Capital Postal & Mailbox Service. She is the first Black woman to start franchising in the shipping and mailbox industry. Before achieving her present success, Takisha went through a series of career and life-defining events that broadened her vision for the business.

In 2003, years before establishing Capital Postal & Mailbox Service, Takisha Clark embarked on her lifelong ambition to become an entrepreneur. She was only 22 at the time. Soon after, she established a daycare facility and purchased three different houses. Unfortunately, in 2007, Takisha’s sister passed away in a car accident. The sudden loss of a loved one devastated Takisha.

The entrepreneur suffered from anxiety and depression after losing her sister. It became too difficult for Takisha Clark to deal with the tragedy. As a result, she closed down her daycare facility and lost all her houses. Takisha found herself without a job or a home.  After one year of being homeless, Takisha Clark decided to pull herself out of her situation. She found a job at a drug and alcohol program. By helping other people overcome their challenges, Takisha anchored her life in meaning again. She served as a program specialist for the drug and alcohol program for three years.

With her drive and motivation restored, Takisha Clark decided to return to her roots in entrepreneurship. Takisha wanted to start a business again so she can have a platform to help people. Hoping to enter the tax business, Takisha bought into a franchise called Liberty Tax Service. Her experiences with Liberty Tax Service, and subsequently her own Good Faith Tax Service, taught Takisha about franchising and running a corporate company. She brings her knowledge and experience with her in leading Capital Postal & Mailbox Service.
